Bare cable

These bare cables are the fastest option available, although there are some compromises in durability compared to coated cable.

Avoid using this cable on abrasive surfaces as much as possible, as this will shorten the life of your cable considerably.

Bare Cable :

  • Uncoated steel cable
  • Smooth surfaces only
  • Fastest option
  • Replace more frequently
  • Best for advanced user
  • Compatible with Session, Sprint, and Comp handles

Trying to decide between cables?  Read this...

There are a few factors to consider when deciding which cable option is best for you.

  • If speed is your top priority, and you're an efficient jumper who's training indoors on rubber flooring, and you don't mind changing a cable a little more frequently, then the bare cable is perfect for you.
  • If durability and versatility are your top priorities, and you'd prefer a longer span between cable replacements, then the Coated cables are probably better options.
